Jerel Culver

 Mr. Jerel Jerome “Bird” Culver was born to Marvin Culver, Jr. and Alice Culver on April 2, 1971 in Dothan, Alabama.

Everyone that knew him would tell you that Jerel was a happy go lucky person. He would give you a big smile if you met him. He never was a trouble maker for anyone. He loved to rap, and he was one of the best! Friends would ask him to rap for them and he would do so with ease. He loved rapping with his freestyle rap collaborators, Scotty Dean (C-Nile) and Dexter Marsh (Dekky Dek).

Jerel was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Culver; his sister, Christy Oliver; his brother, Brad Culver; and his grandparents on both side of his family, C.W. Ruck and Lillie Rene Bonds; Marvin Culver, Sr. and Agnes Culver.
 
He leaves to cherish his memories with many family members and friends; two daughters: Gillet Davis and Jasmine Davis; his sons: Jerel Jerome Davis and Shaquille Carter; his mother, Alice Culver; brothers: Marvin D. (Jennifer) Culver, Derrick Culver (Wanda), Victor Culver, Melvin Culver and Malcom Culver; his sisters: Alesie (Gilbert) Petty, and Andrea (Tyler) Williams; one brother-in-law, Terrence Oliver; aunts: Debra Bonds, Louise Dean, Cynthia Helms, Caldonia Moore (David),Felecia Russell, Catherine Bonds, Corine Salter, Christine Salter and Gwen Underwood; uncles: Wayne (Jeraldean) Reaves, Dr. Charles (Theresa) Bonds, Reverend Willie (Betty) Bonds,Scottie Dean, Sr; six grandchildren; a very special loving and devoted friend, his girlfriend, Heather Sanchez. Friends for many years: Teresa Shiver and Larry Garlington, and a host of other relatives and friends.
