Janice Wiggins Life and Times

Mrs.  Janice Wiggins, age 68, of Headland, Alabama passed away Monday, January 20, 2020.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 26, 2020 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 2 PM at Jesus First Church in Headland, Alabama.

Mrs. Wiggins was born on June 1, 1951 in Henry County, Alabama to the late Mr. Coley and Mary C. Brown.

Janice was disabled and retired from West Point Stevens in Abbeville, Alabama; where she was loved by all those around her and became a mother like figure to them.  She gave her life to Jesus Christ at an early age.  She served as a faithful, loyal and dependable member.  Singing songs of worship and praise during testimony service, which touched the hearts and minds of everyone and lifted their spirits.  She was a true woman of God, a mighty warrior, a soldier, loving, faithful, kind, baring the fruits of the spirit and standing in the midst of adversity.  She was selfless and God fearing.  Our Angel on Earth, a best friend, an encourager, and beautiful; she sacrificed herself to provide for and give to others.  It was because of her Godly influence, and prayers, that many lives were changed.  The list could go on and on about her character.  She loved life, her family, friends and community unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Mr. Coley and Mary C. Brown; brothers: Johnny C. Brown, Julius Brown, Carl Brown, Terry Brown, Robert Brown and Jerry Brown; sisters: Ethel Critten, Rachael Thomas and Carolyn Brown; sons: Robert Wiggins and Christopher M. Wiggins; mother-in-law and father-in-law: Willie Lee (Emma) Wiggins; brother-in-law: Willie B. Lynn and Aaron Wiggins.

She went home, to glory, on January 21, 2020.  She suffered with multiple illnesses for twelve years.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her husband: Bobby L. Wiggins; daughter: Pamela D. Jackson; granddaughter: Mariah T. M. Wiggins and Jadah K. Wiggins; unborn grandson: Jay'ven M. Clemmons; sisters: Winnie Ruth Lynn and Rosemary Rambo; brother/sister-in-law: L.C. and Carolyn Corbitt, Shirley McClamy, Erma Wiggins, Brenda Floyd and Gussie Brown; and a host of nieces, nephews, special friends, other relatives and neighbors.
