James Henry Lee

Mr. James Lee, age 75, of Newville, Alabama passed away Friday, October 22, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Tuesday, October 26, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 1 PM at Rocky Mount Baptist Church, 457 County Road 42, Abbeville, Alabama 36310.

Burial will immediately follow the service at the Church's Cemetery.

Deacon James Henry Lee was born August 22, 1946 to the late Oscar Lee Sr. and Ludie B. Patterson Lee.

He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior, at an early age.  He joined Rocky Mount Baptist Church in Abbeville, Alabama, where he served as a faithful member and Deacon.

On October 22, 2021, the Lord called James to rest.  He was 75 years old.

Preceding him in death was his son: Frederick Lamar Lee; his father: Oscar Lee, Sr.; his mother: Ludie B. Patterson Lee; one brother: Willie Fred Lee; and three sisters: Ruby Lee Thomas, Yvonne Reynolds and Brenda Joyce Lee.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife: Rosa M. Lee; daughter: Vicki Lee Jones; two grandchildren: Ashanti (Brian) Carroll and Elijah Jones; four sisters: Lottie Benson, Annie Lee, Betty Lee, and Deborah James; three brothers: Otis (Alberta) Lee, Oscar (Lecresha) Lee and James Spann; one special sister-in-law: Ruby Berry and brother-in-law: Roy (Mae) Johnson; two very close friends: Alex Lingo and Oscar Reynolds.  James also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, other dear relatives and friends.
