James Fitzgerald Reynolds

Mr. James Reynolds, age 48, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, January 19, 2021.

James Fitzgerald Reynolds was born, in Dothan, Alabama, on July 23, 1972 to James and Merris Reynolds.  He was educated in the Dothan City School System.

At a young age, Gerald took after his grandfather, J.B. Johnson, by taking on a love for farming.  He farmed for many years, and was also employed at Twitchell for several years.

Gerald was one of the most humorous people you could ever meet.  Any time spent with him was filled with laughter and jokes.  He loved the Crimson Tide, Dallas Cowboys and the New York Yankees.

His greatest gift was his son Jaylan.  Being a father brought Gerald much joy.  Gerald also shared a special bond with his niece: Damaris.  The love he had for his son and niece was immeasurable.

Gerald was preceded in death by his parents: James E. Reynolds and Merris L. Reynolds and his sister: Mia Reynolds.

His memories are left to be cherished by his son Jaylan Reynolds; his sister: Raquel Reynolds; his brother: Cameron Reynolds; stepmother: Annie Reynolds and his beloved niece: Damaris Slaughter.

He will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.  A special goodbye to Lee Danzey, Jermaine Stovall, Chris Stovall and David Register.

From your presence in our lives, your goofy grin, and the love you gave us all, we will miss you deeply.  You will be in our hearts forever! Roll Tide !!
