Mr. James Brown, age 53, of Newville, Alabama passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021.
Drive through visitation will be Friday, March 26, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11 AM at Mt. Sinai Church Cemetery in Newville, Alabama.
James Edward Brown was born on February 10, 1968, to George Edward Brown and Mary Nell, in Newville, Alabama. James remained in Newville until he departed this life on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
James was a 1987 Graduate of Headland High School. He was employed at Central Plant Technology before he was no longer able to work. He worked many years with the Garden of Memory, in Construction and Landscaping. James had a love for the outdoors and was Headland High School's most talented baseball pitcher.
Many, for his outgoing personality and priceless smile, loved James. He would give his last for his family, friends, and loved ones. He had a heart of gold and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. James was a faithful member of The Mt. Sinai Baptist Church in Newville, Alabama.
James was preceded in death by his wife: Belinda Brown; sister: Monica Morrison; two aunts, seven uncles and all of his grandparents- maternal and paternal.
James leaves, to cherish his memories, wittiness and amazing spirit, two children: Andrevious Underwood and Santanya (Deion) Rolley; both of the most nurturing, loving, and dedicated parents: George Edward and Mary Nell Brown of Newville, Alabama; a dedicated sister that stood by his side from day one, definitely her brother's keeper: Stephanie (Rondy) Dawsey of Kinsey, Alabama, Joyce Morrison of Montgomery, Alabama, Domonique Brown of Dothan, Alabama and Trina Owens of Enterprise, Alabama; his brothers: Jacob Brown of Newville, Alabama and Marcus Morrison of Dothan, Alabama; seven aunts: Linda (Raymond) Whatley of Kinsey, Alabama, Marilyn (Grady) Stovall, Ella Brown, Wadine (Murphy) Jones all of Headland, Alabama, Elma Cummings of Columbia, Alabama, Bernistine (Oscar) Reynolds of Newville, Alabama, and Anna (Gary) Pender of Dothan, Alabama; one uncle, the dedicated: Eddie Brown of Headland, Alabama; James had a unique and special love for all his nephews, nieces, great nieces, great nephews. He had special friends that were more like brothers: Roy Key, Stevie Jackson, Robert Fields, Robert Snell, Jamey Fryer, and Michael Benton, all of whom there was a faithful bond until he departed this life; many cousins and other friends.
