Jamelle Blackmon

Mrs. Jamelle Wigglesworth Blackmon was born November 18, 1967, in Meriden, Connecticut, to Marcus Wigglesworth and Ruth Hardrick Wigglesworth.  She moved to Cottonwood, Alabama at an early age.

She resided in Dothan for the past 28 years.  On September 4, 1993, she married the love of her life Robert Blackmon.  They were married for 28 years and to this union, two children were born.

Mrs. Blackmon passed away Sunday, May 16, 2021.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Rachel and Myra and three brothers: Michael, Marcus, and Ricky.

Mrs. Blackmon leaves to cherish her memories, her husband: Robert Blackmon; two loving sons: Jordan and Jayden; her sister: Cyneetha Jernigan; two brothers: Roy Hardrick and Melvin Wigglesworth; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends; a special niece: Brittney Snell; and as a mother figure: Sandra Fritz.
