Ivie didn’t have any children but he had the spirit of a father to so many.

It is with great sadness that the family of Ivie “June” Danzey announces his passing after brief illness on June 30, 2020, at the age of 85 years.
Ivie will be loving missed by his devoted wife: Annie Byrd Danzey; his sweet sisters: Ruby Lee Tharpe, Mary Alene Danzey and Martha Maelene Danzey Johnson. Ivie will also be fondly missed by a host of “wonderfully blessed” nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. And he will also be especially remembered by his good friends and co-workers in Newark, New Jersey.
Rest in peace from all of us who will never forget you. In Jesus Name.
