Hazel Denise Porter was born on June 23, 1932. Hazel, and her twin brother Hayward Daniels, were the last of 11 siblings, born to the late James Fred Daniels and Carrie Etta Daniels of Campbellton, Florida.
Hazel was married to the late Ulyess Porter of Campbellton, Florida.
Hazel was dearly loved by her family. Her nieces and nephews gave her the nickname "Sweet" and "Sweet T". Her siblings named here "TiTi" due to the fact that she was the smallest of her siblings. She was sweet and kind to everyone she met and greeted everyone with a charming smile, that no one could resist. Hazel was always a religious person. In 1973, she began studying the bible with Jehovah Witnesses. In 1976, she was baptized as one of Jehovah Witnesses. Hazel, later, became a full time pioneer and found much joy in her ministry, that she zealously loved. Because of her great love for Jehovah, she never stopped talking about the God that she so dearly loved. For those that knew her, please remember her fond memories until we are united with her again in paradise.
Hazel is survived by her children: Dorothy (Willie) Godwin, Michael (Linda) Daniels, Cleveland (Bridgett) Porter, Bobby (Lanae) Porter, Roderick Porter, Sarah (Jimmy) Brown, and Vanessa (Robert) Hampton; two daughters-in-law: Gwynn Porter and Melissa Porter; brother: Hayward Daniels; two sisters-in-law: Foy Mar Daniels and Martha Russell; one brother-in-law: Willie Baldwin; 28 grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
