Harry Gene Wright

Mr. Harry G. Wright  affectionately known as “Po-Man” was born April 2, 1946 to the late Mr. Charles W. and Cleo Wright in Dothan, Alabama.  On Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at 10:45 am, God called Harry home at his residence.

Harry Wright, sometimes known as “Po-Man” joined North Highland Baptist Church at a very early in life, where he served faithfully until he went blind in 1984.

Harry was preceded in death by his parents Mr. Charles W. and Cleo Wright and one sister Mrs. Ollie Hart.

Harry leaves to cherish his memories; sisters; Juanita Canady (Ms. Nita) and Gloria Wright Clark both of Dothan Alabama; nieces: Regina McCants (David), Janet Matthews (Vincent) Precious Coleman Winbush  and Jennifer Clark; nephews:  Reggie Clark, Sean Clark and Roderick Hicks;  and also a long time friend David Saffold of Huntsville, Alabama.
