Mr. Grady White beloved brother and uncle passed away on Mother’s Day Sunday, May 10, 2026 after a brief illness. He was age 75.
Grady was born November 3, 1950 in Slocomb Alabama to the late Mr. Coy & Mrs. Mildred Johnson White in Slocomb Alabama. Grady was raised by dedicated and loving parents and attended Geneva County Training School, Slocomb Alabama.
Grady was married to Lillie Mae Thomas of Slocomb and Debra Perry of Salt Lake City Utah. Both proceeded him in death.
Grady enjoyed relaxing at home, hosting and spending enjoyable moments with family, neighbors and friends. He also enjoyed gardening and watching westerns on tv.
In 1986, Grady moved from Slocomb, Alabama to West Valley City, Utah and briefly resided with his sister & brother-in-law, Rev. Jerome & Mrs. Lucille White Council. Grady later became employed with the University of Utah Health Sciences Medical Center Housekeeping - where he was employed as a Housekeeping Supervisor. Grady was a commendable and responsible dedicated employee and well-liked by his co-workers and supervisor until he retired in 2019.
Grady confessed Christ in 1994 and became a member of the True Vine Baptist Church Kaysville Utah, where his brother-in-law, Rev Jerome Council served as pastor.
Grady was preceded in death by his parents; older brother - Tommy Lee White & younger sister Lois Parker.
Grady leaves to cherish his memories with his two sons: Grady White Jr of Broward County Florida and Lamar Neal of Dothan Alabama; two sisters: Lucille (Rev. Jerome) Council of Rex Georgia, Posie White of Hartford Alabama and one dedicated brother - John L. White of Dothan Alabama; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Grady was loved by his family and well-liked by all his friends and those whom he met.
