Gloria Dean Coleman was born on June 6, 1949 in Henry County, Alabama to Noah Creed Cogman and Annie Lois White Cogman.
Gloria accepted Christ at an early age and joined Green Valley Baptist Church where she became usher, also president of the usher board at Burdeshaw Street Church where she became Usher, also president of the usher board at Burdeshaw Street Church. She served her church faithfully until her health failed. She worked for Sunnyland and Ansell for many years until she retired. Sister Coleman was a mother, grandmother, aunt, great aunt, caregiver and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents; four sisters: Ethel M. Martin, Cressie M. Gordon, Julia A. Gordon and Sarah F. young and a brother: Larry Cogman.
Gloria Coleman, a resident of Miland City, Alabama went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Southeast Health Medical Center after a illness. She was 76.
She leaves to cherish her memories her sons: Devis (Angie) Coleman, Justin (Brandi) Coleman; daughter: Pamela Coleman and Ashley Coleman; grandchildren's; great grands; siblings: Creed (Fran) Cogman, Jr. of Baltimore, MD, Billy (Johnsie) Cogman of Accokeek, MD, Gregory (Jeannie) Cogman of Colorado Springs CO, Mary Porter of Dothan, Alabama and Betty (James) Brooks of Midland City, Alabama; two devoted nieces: Essie McCloud and Esther Fields; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
