George Arthur Pascoe, affectionately known as GG, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 5, 2025, in Dothan, Alabama.
He was 61 years young. Born on December 4, 1963, in Connecticut, George's life journey took him from his early years in Florida to retiring in Andalusia, Alabama, in 2022. His warmth and vibrant spirit touched the lives of all who knew him.
For many years, George thrived as a successful hairdresser, his skilled hands and genuine care leaving a lasting impression on his clients. He was known for his infectious laughter, a gift he freely shared with everyone he met, brightening even the most ordinary of days. Beyond his professional life, George cultivated a passion for gardening, nurturing beauty and growth in the world around him. His love of food brought joy to countless gatherings with many. Above all else, George cherished the time spent with his family and friends, these connections forming the heart of his full and happy life which was a tapestry woven with threads of joy, purpose, and meaningful connections. He embraced each day with enthusiasm, finding fulfillment in his work, cherishing his relationships, and pursuing his passions with unwavering dedication. His journey was marked by both triumphs and challenges, but through it all, he maintained a positive spirit and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. George's legacy is one of love, laughter, and a life well-lived.
George is survived by his loving husband, Tim Casalinuovo, devoted daughter, Raven Aceto (TJ), sister, Dawn Aceto (Ezra), brother, Russell Pascoe (Rachael), mother-in-law Annette Dimon, father-in-law Ron (Barbara) Casalinuovo, Michael (Debbie) Casalinuovo, Rhonda (Cathy) Casalinuovo, Linda Jernigan, Kim (Dan) Dixon, Nicole (George) Pilla and Chris (Kao) Casalinuovo, along with a multitude of nieces, nephews, family, and friends who he held near and dear to his heart.
A private ‘Celebration of Life’ will be held, in lieu of a service at a later date, due to George's firm belief that funerals are dreary affairs and insisted on a party instead.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SPCA in George's honor. George will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
