Mr. Gary Bell, age 76, of Savannah, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Visitation will be Friday, December 10, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home; as well as one hour prior to the service.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11 AM at Johns Chapel AME Church, 605 Geneva Hwy, Enterprise, Alabama 36330.
Burial will immediately follow the service at the church's cemetery.

GARY WALLACE BELL was born May 16, 1945, to Geneva and Alto Bell in Enterprise, Alabama. He grew up attending Johns Chapel A.M.E. Church. Wallace, as we called him in Enterprise, graduate from Coppinville High School, Class of 1963. He played football and was a star catcher on the baseball team. While in high school, he also worked at the cab stand on Railroad Street as the taxi dispatcher.
Wallace attended Edward Waters College in Jacksonville, Florida for a year before joining the Army. He was stationed in several locations including: Korea, Germany, and two tours in Vietnam. His medals include the Bronze Stars, Meritorious Service Medal, Air Medal, Good Conduct Medal (4th Award), Army Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry w/Palm. He retired after 22 years of service with the rank of Sergeant First Class.
After his military retirement, he remained in Savannah, Georgia; his last duty station. Wallace also completed a career with the United States Post Office. He became a Mason and rose to the rank of 33rd degree.
Wallace loved sports and was an avid Alabama fan. Often while watching a game, he would call his great-nephews, Myles and Malcolm, to discuss different plays. Although he was technically challenged, he finally got the hang of FaceTime and called Chasity every day to talk to "Logi Bear". He enjoyed being surrounded by his family while he just sat in his chair, as he did on his last birthday in May of this year.
Wallace was preceded in death by his parents: Geneva and Alto Bell; his sister: Florence Bell Sconiers; and niece: Lauretta Griffin.
He is survived by his brother and sisters: Paula Griffin of Ithaca, New York, Kathryn (Joe) Mitchell of Tampa, Florida, Bobby (Alicia) Bell of Fayetteville, North Carolina, Allie (Presiding Elder David) Reddick of Enterprise, Alabama, Mary Jackson of Ashland, Kentucky, Altoria Ross of Washington, D.C., and Debra Bell of Jacksonville, Florida; nieces and nephews: Stephanie Davis, Joey Mitchell, Renee Wilson, Denise Bell, Cereba Bell, Angela Bell, Chasity Bell, Tiffany Smith, Bobby Griffin, and Joshua Ross; aunt: Lauretta Fennell of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Goddaughter: Nakia Banks; his longtime friends in Savannah, Georgia: Joe and Sally Branch, Carl and Anthony. He will be forever loved, forever missed, and forever remembered. He is forever in our hearts.
