Mr. Floyd (Hoppy) Robinson was born on June 24, 1949, in Webb, Alabama to the Lon Black and Susie Robinson.
He was a graduate of Ashford (Grimsley) High School System. He accepted Christ at an early age. After completion of high school he join the United States Navy on June 11, 1969 and was honorable discharge on March 31, 1971 in Bainbridge, Maryland. He returned to Dothan and met and married Ms. Annie Copeland on January 12, 1973. He was a member of the Dothan Community Church. He was employed with the Dunbarton Industry where he retired in 2015. He enjoyed spending time with his family and relatives. His hobbies were fishing, going to the movies and cooking with his family and ushering in the church.
Mr. Floyd passed away on June 7, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Lon Black and Susie Mae Robinson; one sister: Manor Doris Horne.
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife: Annie Copeland Robinson; four children: Floyd Robinson Jr, Sheronda Baum, Reginold Robinson, and Delorise (Charlie) Thomas all of Dothan, Alabama; siblings: Haze, Jimmy, Ray C., Wayne and Daniel Black, Gloria Snell, Ruby Laster, Dorothy Clark, Mary Moore, and Ruby (Ginger Bread) Robinson; twenty-four grandchildren: Michael Johnson, Caleb Calloway, Malijah Calloway, Angel Robinson, Joy Robinson, Makaylah Swain, Ricky Robinson, Ariel Baum, Avery Davis, Latisha Davis, Natalie Thomas, Antwan Miller, Jasmine Miller, Emerald White, DeAndre McDowell, Chavez Watts, Sydney Dunlap, Jada Robinson, Jamanda Pittman, Xavier Robinson, Ashton Robinson, Hailey Ramsey, Brennan Green, Kayla Ware; two great grandchildren: Traeson Robinson and Juliana Davis; a host of nieces and nephews: Jason Horne, Christopher Horne, Alex Horne, Fred Robinson, Kenneth Robinson, Patricia Mitchell, Kathy Robinson, Janice Whatley and Michael Robinson; and a host of other relatives and friends
