With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Felecia Wheeler Harriette, who departed this life on March 24, 2026, at the age of 50. She was a woman of unwavering faith, boundless love, and extraordinary strength.
Felecia was born to Sula Wheeler and James Wheeler in Donalsonville, Georgia, and was raised in a home where love was the foundation. She was a proud member of Dothan High School’s graduating class of 1975. Throughout her life, she was adored by many. Felecia was a beacon of kindness, a natural leader, and a pillar of strength to all who knew her.
She was a faithful and loving wife to Jude Harriette, a devoted mother to Cliffton Townsend Jr., Destiny Townsend, and Jah’lecia Harriette, and a proud and cherished grandmother to Paris Johnson and Joshua Dejesus.
Felecia is also lovingly remembered by her siblings: Jamie Wheeler (brother), Cassandra Curry (sister), Valerie Wheeler (sister), and Ranae Kelley (sister), who stood beside her throughout her life with unwavering support and love.
Her impact reached far beyond her immediate family. Felecia was a true friend to many—always offering wisdom, encouragement, and a listening ear. Her life was a testament to faith and resilience. She loved deeply, led with grace, and remained steadfast in her belief in God.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, kindness, and strength will live on in each of us. As a family, we hold tightly to the faith she instilled, trusting that she now rests peacefully in the arms of the Lord.
