On the morning of July 6, 2025, our Heavenly Father whispered softly to Ether Lee Hamilton and said, “You have ran your race and now your journey is complete. Well done My good and faithful servant”.
Mrs. Ether Lee Hamilton, better known as “Big Momma”, was born on March 20, 1925 in Luverne, Alabama to the late Louise Dent and Lawrence Perkins. She was raised and spent most of her adult life there. She confessed her life to Christ at an early age.
She was preceded in death by her children, Jereldean Farahkhan and Willie C. Hamilton.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her grandchildren: Mary (Yancey) Reedy, Johnny (Jessetta) Green, Eddie Green, Earnest Green, Therisa (Bobby) Daffin, Terry Green, Daniel Johnson and Mariko Covington. Her great grandchildren, Lisa (Charles) Pruitt, Antonio (La-Keisha) Green, Sandra (Carlos) Gomar, Ted Leeth, Sheneta Leeth, Lenoris Dixon, Eddie Horn, Corey Green, Sherisa Peterson, Earnest Green, Jr., Deionta Green, Adrian Green, Isiah Green, Quindarius Allen, Quinnya Allen, Michelle Johnson, and Mark Turner; her great-great grandchildren, Melissa Green, Shanelle Leeth, Antoinette Christian, Antoine Christian, Jr., Asiah Abrams, Carmen Leeth, Mari Christian, Ted Leeth III “Tre”, Santana Leeth, LaShayla Pruitt, Charles Pruitt, Aiden Dixon, Chavis Pruitt, Ava Griffin, Amyah Lee, Amirah Lee, Ethan Johnson, Ellana Johnson, Holle Johnson and DeMarion Hall; eight great-great-great grandchildren: special friends: the Hudson Family, the Hall Family and Freddie (Yvonne) Calloway.
