Erika Loraine Copeland

Ms. Erika Copeland, age 53, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Erika Copeland, the daughter of Willie Copeland and Lula Copeland, was given the precious gift of life on May 27, 1968 in Dothan, Alabama.

At an early age, she accepted Christ and was added to the Blackshear Street Church of Christ - currently South Park Church of Christ.

Erika received her GED, and joined the US Army in 1999.  She received training as a Medic and later returned to Dothan and was employed as a medical assistant at Laurel Oaks and Health South.

On Tuesday, September 28, 2021, Erika peacefully received her Heavenly wings.  As she's now resting in the bosom of our Lord and Savior; her presence will be immensely missed.

She was preceded in death by her beloved niece: Mariah Long.

She leaves to cherish her sweet memories, her parents: Willie and Lula Copeland; five sisters: Mary (James) Mckinney, Cynthia Long, Patricia Thomas, (her beloved adopted sister) Dorothy (Jeffrey) Johnson, and Dedra Galloway; two special friends: Carrie Gatlin and Mary Ann Walker; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends.
