Erick Hart Life and Times

Mr. Erick Hart, age 44, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019.  Visitation will be Friday, September 6, 2019 from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.  Funeral service will be Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 1 PM at First Missionary Baptist Church.  Burial will immediately follow the service at First Baptist Cemetery in Clio, Alabama.

On February 8, 1975, Erick Bernard Hart was born to the late Edward Richardson, Sr. and Lavanda Hart Richardson in Dothan, Alabama.  

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined First Missionary Baptist Church.  Erick was educated in Dothan City School system.  Erick had a vision for traveling and seeing the world and that's exactly what he did.  He enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.  Erick gained many friends with his caring spirit and the ability to make anyone laugh and crack their side. 

He departed this life on August 28, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his father: Edward Richardson, Sr. and grandparents: James Mayo and Margarett Mayo

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and caring mother: Lavanda Richardson; one son: Dakari Hart and the mother of his son Yen Tran of Bayou La Batre, Alabama; one grandmother: Lucilee Jernigan of Dothan, Alabama; six brothers: Joseph Hart and David Richardson both of Dothan, Alabama, Edward, Jr., Ladarius, Demetrius and Jodecie Richardson all of Hollywood, Florida; one sister: Peggy McKenzie of Montgomery, Alabama; four aunts: Vanessa Mayo King of San Antonio, Texas, Betty and Lisa Jernigan, and Uretha Wimbush all of Dothan, Alabama; three uncles: Eccles Mayo of Powder Springs, Georgia, Bivens Mayo of Huntsville, Alabama and Eddie Jernigan of Dothan, Alabama; five great aunts: Willie Mae Ligions of Clio, Alabama, Betty Lee, Lettie Harris, Josie White and Joan Cooper all of Hollywood, Florida; three God mothers: Rose Rambo of Dothan, Alabama, Carmen Belle of North Carolina and Cecelia Stokes of Texas; three nephews: Jorico, Kase, and Jermaine Hart all of Dothan, Alabama; one niece: Zamaya Hart of Dothan, Alabama; special cousins: Aimee, Almetra, Allison, Ashley, Roderick, Brian, Derrick and Mercedes Jernigan all of Dothan, Alabama and Javon of Kentucky; his son's God mother: Kelly Vaughn and a host of other relatives and friends.
