Ella Phillips

The Hands of Time made their final rounds in the life of Ella Phillips, on the evening of August 27, 2025 when she answered her Master’s call.

Mrs. Ella Phillips was born September 18, 1924 in Houston County, Dothan, Alabama; daughter of the late George P. Gilbert and Luella Gilbert.

She was a long standing , faithful member of  Stringer Street A.M.E. Church.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Phillips. Survivors include nephews, CSM, (Ret) Herman D. (Geraldine) Williams, Raeford, North Carolina; Truman E. (Mary) Williams, Dothan, Alabama; and Jerry M. Williams, Pensacola, Florida. Nieces, Oretha H. (James) Lewis, Conyers, Georgia; Donna L. (Josephus) Summers, Daleville, Alabama; Frances H. (Harold) Ford, Dothan, Alabama, and a host of relatives and friends.
