PFC Brother Eddie Holland, Jr. received the gift of life on October 10, 1955 in Cottonwood, Alabama to Eddie Holland, Sr. and Corine R. Holland.
At an early age, he accepted Christ as his personal Savior and became of Greater Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Cottonwood, Alabama. He attended Cottonwood High School in Cottonwood, Alabama and later he moved to Jacksonville, Florida to receive his high school diploma, from there join the United States Army.
PFC Brother Eddie Holland, Jr. was preceded in death by his father: Eddie Holland, Sr; his brother: Richard E. Holland; his grandmothers: Eddie Mae Watson Mizell, Emma N. Ward and Louise Robinson; his grandfathers: Jerry Holland, Joe Robinson and Johnny Ward.
He leaves to cherish his precious memories three beautiful loving daughter: Sanquata Holland, Shannon Payton Gadsen of Jacksonville, Florida, Lashanda Williams of Panama City, Florida; two handsome sons: Alec (Robert) Holland of Jacksonville, Florida and Alan Holland of Jersey City, New Jersey; sixteen grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his loving devoted mother: Corine R. Holland of Cottonwood, Alabama; six siblings: JoAnn (William) Blount of Calloway, Florida, Mitchell Couch of Malone, Florida, Catherine Warren of Orlando, Florida, Ronnie (Angie) Holland of Panama City, Florida, Carolyn (Ragerio) Coleman of Dothan, Alabama, Yavett (Romann) Pound of Niceville, Florida and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
