Dovie Lou Chambers

Ms. Dovie Chambers, age 84, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, February 15, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Thursday, February 18, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 at 11 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Dovie Lou Bell Chambers was born on May 2, 1936 to Willis Son and Clara Lou Ford Bell.  She was as housewife and retired factory worker at Akwell (Ansell).  She was a member of Pentecostal Deliverance Faith Temple #1, under the leadership of Bishop Charles H. Bell, Pastor and her brother.

She departed this life on Monday, February 15, 2021 at Southeast Health.  Her husband, William H. Chambers, preceded her in death.

Dovie leaves to cherish her memories, a daughter: Charlotte (Elvis) Douglas; brothers: Gene Bell, Bishop Charles H. Bell and William (Gloria) Bell; a brother-in-law: Lawrence (Jean) Chambers; a special friend: Ms. Willie Mae Price; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
