Dodd Lafayette Jones

Dodd was born on January 25, 1966, to the late Charles Nix and the late Nora Lee Jones in Dothan, Alabama.

He was the grandson of the late Votie and Grant Satcher and the great grandson of the late Marie Reynolds.

Dodd was also preceded in death by his brother Andrew Jones, Jr; his sister: Aprila Davis; and his nephew: Gregory Jones.

Dodd Lafayette Jones of Dothan, Alabama went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, February 10, 2024.

Dodd is survived by his children : Kenya Jackson, Damien (Dorothy), Raphel Pride and Takila Jackson and his grandchildren all of Dothan, Alabama; his sisters: Angela (Rodney) Brown of Woodbridge, VA, Lawana (Johnathon) Brown of Dothan, Alabama, Octavia Jones of Atlanta, Georgia, Donna Jones of Dothan, Alabama, Anita McCoy of Dothan, Alabama; a brother: Todd Nix of Panama City, Florida; he also leaves to mourn a host of nieces and nephews and close friends: Robert Matthews, Ricky Park, David Baker and Quartez “Wolf” Jackson who all loved him dearly.
