Mrs. Dianne Warren, age 65, of Headland, Alabama passed away Monday, August 31, 2020.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 4, 2020 at 11 AM at Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
Dianne Dozier Warren was born November 19, 1954 to the late Willie C. Dozier and Lucille McNealy in Henry County Alabama. Dianne was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church where she accepted Christ at an early age. She married Rudolph Warren in 1973 and this holy matrimony brought two daughters: Erica Warren-Owens and Martika Warren. She has two grandchildren: Desirae Owens and Daven Bryant; two great-grandchildren whom she loves and adores: Aaliyah Thomas and Nubia Thomas.
Dianne was preceded in death by her father and mother and 6 siblings: Georgia Mae Duncan, Kenneth Maxwell Spurling, Brenda Vickers, Scottie Dozier, Tommy Dozier, Barbara Dozier.
She has four remaining sisters: Blondell Johnson (Dothan, AL), Lue Ellen Flemings (Saginaw, MI), Maude Ester Alexander (Newville, AL), Mable Knight (Hartford, CT). Two remaining brothers: Willie J. Dozier (Linden, NJ), Terry Dozier (Everington, NJ).
Dianne was called home to be with the Lord on August 31, 2020. She was a loved and devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend. In her earlier years she mastered sewing and became a great seamstress, sewing for friends and family. She retired from West Point Stevens after over 25 years of service. After retiring she devoted herself to decorating the church, gardening, taking care of family and friends. She had a beautiful smile and joyful attitude, and most of all she loved everyone.
She leaves cherished memories her husband: Rudolph Warren to two loving daughters: Erica Warren-Owens (Headland, AL) and Martika Warren (Conyers, GA). Two grandchildren: Desirae Owens and Daven Bryant (Headland, AL). Two great-grandchildren: Aaliyah Thomas and Nubia Thomas.
Dianne had a host of special nieces, nephews, and cousins from the McNealy, Dozier, and Spurling families.
