De’Andre Rashawn Barnes was born on August 21, 1988, in Dothan, Alabama, where he was raised alongside his two brothers, Kendric and Kevin. He was the beloved son of Bobby Earl Barnes and the late Priscilla Delores Barnes. Though he had no children of his own, De’Andre deeply cherished his extended family—his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews all held a special place in his heart.
Known for his quiet nature and loyal heart, De’Andre had a calm presence and a thoughtful spirit. He was a great friend, always remembered by others as kind, dependable, and full of subtle humor. His favorite city was Nashville, Tennessee, which reflected his appreciation for culture and creativity.
De’Andre found joy in life’s simple pleasures—good conversation, good food, and meaningful connection. He loved to cook and was especially proud of a home-cooked meal of meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a cold glass of Kool-Aid.
Above all, De’Andre lived with love and intention. He believed in God and held tightly to his faith. Though his time with us was far too short, he will be remembered for the love he gave, the loyalty he lived by, and the quiet strength that defined him.
