Daniel Tyrel Collins

Mr. Daniel Collins, age 44, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, September 16, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be held on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11 AM at Georgette L. Scott Memorial Chapel, 814 Headland Avenue, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Burial will immediately follow the service at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Daniel Tyrel Collins was born July 3, 1977 to the late Connie P. Collins.  He was born and raised in Dothan, Alabama.

He confessed Christ and was baptized in 2009.  Daniel was a graduate of Dothan High School.

D.C. loved life and his loved ones very much.  He always let you know that he was thankful for you.  Daniel had a calm and protective spirit.  He was a great provider to all of his family.

Daniel leaves to cherish his memories, his wife: April Brooks-Collins; his daughter: Taheshia (Jamaal) Frazier of North Carolina; his son: Desmond Collins of Dothan, Alabama; three grandchildren: Ja'Quavion Frazier, Ja'Kayzia Frazier and Ja'Kylen Frazier; a brother: Tavares West; two sisters: Khadijah Collins and Angel K. Collins; two nieces: Christina Russel and Angel Ann Russell; two nephews: Amari K. Collins and Christopher Russell; lifelong friends: Jimmy Ransom, A.D., Pedro Tullis, JaWayne Thomas and Carlos Lampley; and a host of other nieces, nephews, loving relatives and friends.

His love and presence will be greatly missed.
