Dana Marie Griffin was born in Dothan, Alabama, September 24, 1963, as the oldest daughter born to the late David and Linda Lampley.
Dana attended Dothan High School, Dothan, Alabama and studied Law at New York University, New York City, Ny. She enjoyed helping those in need, cooking and cleaning. Dana had an eye for fashion. She attended Northview Christian Church, and she committed her life to being faithful to her Savior. She enjoyed singing and praising the Lord. Dana was a “die hard” Dallas Cowboy fan and just enjoyed always living life to the fullest. She will be missed dearly.
Dana was preceded in death by her grandparents, G.W. and Delma Lampley; Wesley and Queen Partridge; uncles: Charles Partridge and Omar Shabazz; aunt: Janice Marshall.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Bisheaba Griffin, Omar (Glenda) Griffin, Kashif Brown, Omega Brandi Stephney, Najee Brown, Yusif (Kelcie) Carroll; grandchildren: Derrick, Meyunni, De’Andre, Devin, Destiny, Brooklyn and Camden; sister: Monica (Curtis) Orange, Veronica (Leon) Gilmore; a special person, Paul Brown, Jr.; and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and devoted friends.
