Celebration of Life
Cliff "Junior" Foster was born on January 28, 1931, to the late Cliff Foster Sr. and Jessie Mae T. Foster Hartfield. He departed this life June 5, 2018, after an extended illness.
Cliff Jr. was born in Cottonwood, Alabama. He lived the early part of his life in Blakely Ga. At the age of 18, he moved to Cottonwood, Alabama and got a job working with Bell Peanut Mill from 1968-1969. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Union Hill Baptist Church.
In January 1970, he got hired on with Seaboard CSX Railroad as a Trackman, where he worked for 23.5 years. On March 23, 1991, he married the love of his life, Vivian Foster.
He later joined the Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Lloyed Dillard. Cliff Jr. was loved by many people and always showed patience in helping others build on their homes as well as mowing their lawns. He loved singing, baseball, hunting, and fishing. These were his favorite hobbies. He also loved his dogs, Hambone, CoCo, Peanut and Bullet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step father: Surry Lewis Hartfield, brothers: Clifford Jake Foster and Govenor Foster, sister: Pearl M. Lee and Berniece B. Stubbs, a daughter: Christine Foster, and a son: Richard E. Holland.
Cliff Foster Jr. leaves to cherish his loving memories, his wife: Mrs. Vivian Foster, three sons: Leon (Gwen) Foster of Miami, FL, Anthony (Kasey) Foster, Marlo (Jessica) Ming, all of Dothan, AL, a daughter: Lillie P. Carter of Dothan, AL, brother: Cecil Paul (Cora) Foster of Dothan, AL, and a sister: Lorene Daniels, Crown Nursing Home in Eufaula, AL, two brother-in-laws: Home (Ruby) Laster, and Willie C. Laster, three sister-in-laws: Lucille Harrison, Edna Flowers, Ruby (Doug) Register, all of Dothan, AL, two devoted granddaughters: Kimberly Graham, Dothan, AL, and Angela Crawford, Montgomery, AL, a devoted Godson: Rev. Marlon William, Dothan, AL, a special friend: Lottie Ruth William, Cottonwood, AL, a special nephew & niece: Willie and Hattie Clark of Hollywood, FL, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several great-great grandchildren, stepchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of many loving relatives and friends.
