Clara A Tellis

Clara Ann Tellis was born on November 11, 1950, to loving parents, Annie Climmie Tellis and Lugene Manuel in rural Bullock County.

In her youth, Clara confessed Christ and joined the Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church in the Bruceville Community. She was a faithful member who served as an usher and sang in the choir. 

Clara was a very giving person and a diligent woman with careers working as a production associate at the Welsh Company, a daycare teacher at Conecuh Springs School, and a nursery attendant at First Baptist Church, all in Union Springs, Alabama.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Arthur James Tellis, Ida Bell Tellis Pritchett, Gladys Mae Tellis, George Thomas Tellis, Alley Mae Surles, John Wesley Manuel, James Manuel, Mollie Mae Baldwin, Ezekiel Manuel, and Sally Morgan.

She leaves to cherish her memories: a loving son, Gregory L. Tellis; two grandchildren, Gregory C. Tellis (Gemetryia) and Kymbrianna J. Tellis; great-grandsons, Josiah Tellis, Shaun Tellis, and Tristian Davis; a grand host of nieces and nephews and extended family; and two devoted friends, Katie Mae Tarver and Susie Pearl Perry.
