Mr. Christopher Fitzgerald Stovall departed this earthly life on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at the age of 48.
Christopher Fitzgerald Stovall was born on November 7, 1974 to the late Eugene Stovall and Minnie Stovall in Fort Gaines, Georgia at the Clay County-Fort Gaines Hospital.
He was a faithful member of Parks Chapel A.M.E. Church and served as the Pro Tem of the Trustee Board, a member of the Usher Board and a loyal Sons of Allen.
In his childhood and teenage years, he resided in Haleburg, Alabama, where along with his brothers, they helped their dad with his farm. In 1993, he graduated from Headland High School where he played football, basketball, and participated in Jr. ROTC. After graduation, he attended Alabama A&M University in Huntsville, Alabama, and later joined the Air Force where he was stationed in Aviano, Italy for four years.
Upon return to the United States, he enrolled in Wallace Community College to further his education taking various courses. Skilled in HVAC, Chris worked as a HVAC laborer and later worked at Farley Nuclear Plant where he was employed for twenty years.
On March 21, 1996, Chris was joined in holy matrimony with his high school sweetheart, Adrianne Lynnette Bennett. Together, they had two children: his devoted son, Keeyon Christopher Stovall, and a cherished daughter, Keyanna Adrianna Stovall.
Chris departed this life on March 8, 2023, and was reunited with his father and brother. His influence and presence will be deeply missed by his family, church members, and friends. He was a firm and loving father and a devoted husband to Adrianne for the past 27 years.
Christopher Fitzgerald Stovall is preceded in death by his father: Eugene Stovall and his brother: Kyle Stefan Stovall.
He is survived by his adoring wife, Adrianne Lynnette Bennett Stovall of Dothan, Alabama; his children: Keeyon Stovall of Daleville, Alabama and Keyanna Stovall of Dothan, Alabama; his mother: Minnie Stovall of Abbeville, Alabama; his brothers: Terry (Carrie) Stovall of Newville, Alabama and Gregory (Capreta) Stovall of Chicago, Illinois; his caring sister-in-love: LaTasha Thomas of Nashville, Tennessee; and his precious god-daughter: Azalea Bean.
