Christine Narcisse

Mrs. Christine Narcisse, age 88, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, December 31, 2020.

Drive through visitation will be Thursday, January 7, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 at 1 PM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Mrs. Christine S. Narcisse was the youngest of two children born to the late C.L. and Armenthus Stephens on August 18th in Henry County, Alabama. Her family later moved to Houston County and settled in Dothan, Alabama.

Christine confessed Christ and was baptized at an early age. She was a faithful member of First Missionary Baptist church and sung in the choir and taught Sunday school and assisted with the youth and sunbean. Her favorite scripture was Proverbs 3:5-6.

Christine had a passion under graduated studies at Alabama A&M University were she served her BA degree in education. while attending Alabama A&M, she pledged Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She continued her graduate studies at Alabama State University where she received her Master's in education degree. Christine was an elementary school teacher for 34 years in the Alabama School System. Christine Narcisse was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and cousin.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Charles L. Narcisse; brother and sister-in-law: Calvin (Augusta) Narcisse.

She leaves to cherish her memories two devoted sons born from her union: Pavis (Loretta) and Christopher Narcisse; grandchildren: DeMarcus, Quinton, Chloe and Jordan Narcisse; a loving sister: Warene Byrd; nieces and nephews: Derringer Byrd, Kerchal (Cinda) Byrd, Towanna (Sterling) Shepherd, Robbie Narcisse, Calvinetta (James) Narcisse, Scottie and Butch Mason and Darrell Davis; an abundance of cousins on the Lane side of the family; dedicated live-in caretaker: Eva Fletcher; and a host of other family and friends.
