Charlie Lee Wright

Mr. Charlie Wright, age 71, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, August 17, 2021; drive through viewing will be Friday, September 3, 2021 4-6 PM at the funeral home; graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 1:00 PM at the Church of Dothan Cemetery, County Rd 73, Newville, Alabama; under the direction of the caring staff of Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary "Because We Care".

Charlie Lee Wright, Sr. was born to the late Abraham and Maggie Wright on December 31, 1949, in Alabama.

He departed from this Earth, and remained in our hearts, on August 17, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son: Marquise Bryant, Sr.; two sisters: Ruthie Mae Wright and Rosie Mae Wright; four brothers: Earnest Lee Wright, Eddie Lee Wright, Willie J (Sonny) Wright, and Willie Lee Wright.

He leaves to cherish his memories, three sons: Charlie Wright, Jr., Tarrence Wright, and DeQuan Wright all of Dothan, Alabama; one daughter: Nisha Alexander; siblings to cherish his memories, two sisters: Vietta Hudson of Hainsville, Alabama and Lillie Patton of Montgomery, Alabama; five brothers: Willie Frank Wright of Selma, Alabama, Jimmie (Callie) Wright of Hainsville, Alabama, Fred (Regina) Wright of Florida, Abe (Dorothy) Wright of Hainsville, Alabama and Robert Wright of Florida; special nephew: James Wright of Florida; he is loved by his grandchildren: Charlie Wright, III, Ta'Riya Wright, Tarrence Wright, Jr., Kaisten Wright, Harmony Wright, Letitia Alexander, Shapree Coley, Jaylen Coley and Marquise Bryant, Jr. Charlie will be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and loved ones.
