Cassandra Gail Covington was born August 19, 1969 to Floyd and Christine Covington. She graduated from Northview High School in 1988. She attended Wallace Community College. Cassandra was a dedicated healthcare provider who touched many lives with her care and compassion.
She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Covington and nephew DeJearo Covington.
Cassandra’s life was one that was dedicated to her family. Her sons were the center of her life and they brought immense joy to her life. She was an active member of Eagle Domain Christian Fellowship. She loved to sing.
Cassandra is survived by her loving mother, Christine Covington; her sons, Gregory Covington, Perry Weems and Kevin Jackson of Dothan, AL.; her sisters, Dianne (Anthony) Bighems, Anissa Small, Stacy Covington of Dothan, AL and Lisa Dixon, Milton, FL. Aunts—Pastor Marie Hart, Delois (Robert) Lopez, Cynthia Covington and Sheri Faulk. Uncle—Willie (Mary Jean) McDaniel and a Special Uncle, James Earl Covington of Unadilla, Ga. A special friend James Marshall who will cherish her memory
Nieces—Kaneshia (Jonathan) Glanton, Destiney (Kelvin) McCree, Dionna (Joel) Washington, Trinidy Griffin and Antahlaya Smith. Nephews—Jeremy Covington, A.J. Bighems, Christian Cunningham, Quinten Small, Billy Griffin Jr and Galen Covington. And a host of aunts, uncles, great-nephews, great-nieces, cousins and friends. We will miss you Cassandra.
