Calvin Earl Johnson

Mr. Calvin Johnson, age 64, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Friday, May 7, 2021 from 4 PM to 6 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 11 AM at Center Baptist Church Cemetery in Newville, Alabama.

Calvin Earl Johnson, known to family as “Chuck” and friends as “Twister”, was born October 1, 1956 to the late Queen Ester and Calvin Johnson.
Calvin joined the Army at a young age and served his country until 1984.  After leaving the armed forces, Calvin began his career as a transport specialist.  While working as a transport specialist, he worked with various companies until he became an owner operator.  While being an owner operator, he still mentored and trained others in his field of work.
Calvin departed this life on May 4, 2021.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife: Rosemary Johnson; four sons: Gerald,, Shawn, Stacey, and Parris; two daughters: Kimberly and Partisha; siblings: Gloria, Shirley, Galedria, Willie, and Nubert; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
