Brynleigh Reign Collins, affectionately known as Bryn Bryn, was a beacon of light and love in the lives of those who had the privilege of knowing her during her brief time on this earth. Born on the 24th of July, 2023 in Dothan, Alabama, Bryn Bryn's life, though short, was a testament to the power of love, gentleness and spirited joy.

Bryn Bryn's loving and gentle spirit was evident in the way she touched the hearts of her family and friends. Her radiance was a reflection of the love surrounding her. She was cradled in the arms of her devoted mother, Melyssa Cecelia Collins, cherished by her loving gi-gi Tambria Woods and devoted on by her “pop pop” Spencer Collins. Her great grandparents, Melissa and Willie Newton, and her great-great grandmother Pearlean Collins, showered her with love and blessings. Her aunts, Alyssa and Angel Collins, along with her uncle Elijah Woods, held her close in their hearts. Her godmother, Alexus Anderson, and special friend, Nykia Thomas, stood firmly in love and support for Bryn Bryn.

Bryn Bryn's short journey on earth came to a peaceful end in Birmingham, Alabama. She spent her last few days at UAB Women's, Infants and Children's Hospital, surrounded by the warmth and care of her family, friends, and the compassionate nurses who attended to her. Her spirit, a testament to resilience and pure love, will forever remain a beacon of hope for those who knew her.

As we remember Bryn Bryn, we are reminded of the words of Maya Angelou who once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Bryn Bryn, with her loving and gentle spirit, made us all feel cherished, loved, and important. Her spirited joy, although experienced for a brief time, has left an indelible mark on our hearts.

In addition to her immediate family, Bryn Bryn leaves behind her great aunt and uncles, Melissa and Eddie Perry, Majic Collins, and her great-great aunts and uncle, Eddie Earl and Willie Mae Collins, Veronica Collins, and Theresa Collins. Her special cousins Autumn, Tatum, Tambria, Kyree, and Amoura, along with a host of other relatives, cousins and family friends, will forever cherish the memories of Bryn Bryn.

Brynleigh Reign Collins, your short life was a gift to us all. You will be deeply missed, yet forever remembered. May your gentle and spirited soul rest in eternal peace.
