Bridgett Joann Willis

Mrs. Bridgett Willis, age 55, of Cottonwood, Alabama passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at 12 PM at Union Hill Baptist Church, 1499 Dyras Road, Cottonwood, Alabama 36320.

Burial will immediately follow the service at the Church's Cemetery.

Bridgett Joann Willis was born August 7, 1966 in, Dothan, Alabama, to Apostle Collis Jones and Pastor Annie Lee Jones of Cottonwood, Alabama.

She accepted Christ at an early age at Pentecostal of Deliverance Faith Temple; where she received “the Holy Ghost”. That love and commitment to the church continued until her passing. Bridgett Willis married Grady Willis of Dothan, Alabama of thirty-two years.  
 

 She was preceded in death by one son: Grady Willis, Jr.; one granddaughter: Adrianna Moore; four uncles and two aunts.
 

On October 26, 2021, surrounded by her love ones, Sister Bridgett transitioned from her labor to reward. 

She leaves to cherish husband: Grady Willis; one son: Shantrell (Jakia) Moore of Dothan, Alabama; two daughters: Betty Willis of Midland City, Alabama and Candice Moore of Dothan, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; her parents: Collis (Annie) Jones, Sr.; along with nine sisters and brothers: Darin (Toya) Jones of Dothan, Alabama, Collis (Annie) Jones, Jr. of Kinsey, Alabama, Gregory (Neater) Jones, Sr. of Dothan, Alabama, Shondra (Freddy) Myles of Ashford, Alabama, Jamarrow (Ron) Hearns of Ashford, Alabama, Shannon Jones of Ashford, Alabama, Nicholas (Sharlene) Jones of Cottonwood, Alabama, Akeem (Monmique) Jones of Dothan, Alabama, and Pamela Jones of Ashford, Alabama; a very special friend: Angie Coachman; two special cousins: Loretha Dickens of Columbia, Alabama and Natalie Huspeth of Cottonwood, Alabama; special aunt: Mary Joe Smith of Lakeland, Florida; four sisters-in-law and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
