Boris Demetrius Poon

Mr. Boris Poon, age 53, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away Thursday, September 3, 2020. Visitation will be Friday, September 18, 2020 11:00 AM-1:00 PM at the funeral home. Graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18, 2020 2:00 PM at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 2106 Starling Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303.

Demetrius was born February 9, 1967 in Buffalo, New York to Bambi Brown and Robert Robinson.

He resided in Auwahtukee, Arizona with his son who is pursuing a degree as a Doctor of Pharmacy. Demetrius also leaves his daughter who is pursing a Nurse Practitioner with specialties in Family Health and Psychiatric Mental Health.

He was a health and fitness professional as well as an avid body builder who trained and educated clients in fitness for more than 30 years. That was one of his true passions. Demetrius was a proud and devoted father who cherished his children's existence, and he strived to promote excellence in and throughout their lives. He was passionate about fashion and his personal appearance, and his attention to details when it came to his fashion and appearance were impeccable. He loved cars, music, sports, and fashion. He was also quite the comedian and a clean fanatic.

Demetrius was predeceased by his Grandmother, Annie Poon, Aunt and Uncle, Cora and G L Jarrett, Great-grandparents, Estelle(Big Momma) and Jack (Daddy Jack) Little, Uncle Jr. (Edward), Aunt Betty, Uncle Calvin, Uncle Ruben, Uncle Mike, Momma Gladys, and a host of other Ancestors not mentioned but definitely not forgotten.
Boris Demetrius Poon transitioned on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Chandler Regional Hospital.

Demetrius leaves behind his children: Sonata Poon of Atlanta, GA and Boris Poon II of Auwahtukee, AZ; his loving mother: Ms. Bambi Brown, his father: Mr. Robert Robinson; a sister: Tonya Poon of Phoenix, Arizona and two brothers: Marcus Poon(LaToya) of Bessemer, Alabama and Robert Robinson (Sonja) of Buffalo, New York; two nephews: Votino Poon of Atlanta, Georgia and LaQyuam Mount of Glendale, Arizona; four nieces: Nadya Poon of Atlanta, Georgia, Tishunti Poon of Bessemer, Alabama, and Sydney and Alexandra Robinson of Buffalo, New York as well as a great nephew: Demarion Poon and great niece, Nylah Poon of Atlanta, Georgia and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
