Bobby Lee Crews

Bobby Lee Crews was a dedicated Man of God that loved the Lord and served Him faithfully.  He was born December 13, 1943, to the late Robert and Rosie Lee West Crews. He was a hardworking, loving, devoted man affectionately known as “Bae”, “Daddy”, “Pop”, “PaPa”, “Grandpa Bob”, “Bob”, and “Bobbie Crews”.

He departed this earthly life on November 19, 2023, at home with his loving wife of 25 years, Mrs. Annie Patricia Crews.

Bobby grew up in Henry County, AL where he received his education.  The lessons he learned here, both academic and personal, shaped him into a mighty man of strength and integrity.  Bobby dedicated his life to Christ and remained a dedicated servant of The Lord as a Deacon, Usher, and member of the Male Chorus at Dothan Tabernacle.

Bobby was the proud father of his son Brian Keith Crews who inherited his integrity, strength, and servitude.  Their bond was one of respect, admiration, and deep affection.

He leaves to cherish his wife; Mrs. Annie Patricia Crews, his son Brian Keith Crews (Ebony) of Dothan, AL, His daughters Mamie Jackson (Anthony) of Conyers, GA, Sylvia Wilkinson of Forest Park, GA, and Cherese Moore (Benjamin) of Ellenwood GA. Bobby was a loving brother to Charles Crews (Carolyn), Willie Frank Crews and sisters Frances Crews Pittman, and Mae Catherine Crews, all of Dothan, AL, one Uncle James West Jr. of Newville, AL.

Bobby was preceded in death by his three brothers: James Robert Crews, Marvette Crews, and Mitchell Crews.  He will be greatly missed by his five grandchildren: Briannah Karielle Crews, Briana Croal, Aleece Croal, Jaylen Croal, and Zechariah McGrady, seven greatgrandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
