Bobbie Jean Barkley

Mrs. Bobbie Barkley, age 75, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Monday, February 8, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Friday, February 12, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 10 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Bobbie Jean Barkley was born November 5, 1945 to the late Eddie Rivers and the late Frankie Lou Rivers.

Bobbie Barkley was baptized at an early age and became a member of True Holiness Church which later became Mount Calvary Holiness Church in Dothan, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her parents; late husband: Robert L. Barkley; son: Larry J. Barkley and brother: Earl Rivers.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, one son: Robert (Jackie) Barkley; one daughter: Glenda Barkley; two sisters: Dorothy Blackmon and Tina Young all of Dothan, Alabama; four brothers: Wallace Rivers, Eddie Rivers, Jr., Steve (Jennifer) Rivers all Dothan, Alabama and Charles Rivers of Ariton, Alabama; one sister-in-law: Louise Rivers; three brothers-in-law: Billy Blackmon, Mises Barkley and Bennie Frank Young; five grandchildren: Lakeria King, Bridgette Barkley, Jessica Barkley, Koby Barkley and Larry J. Barkley, Jr.; two great grandchildren: Aryanna Griffin and Caleb Paul Ware; five special nephews: Michael Rivers, Billy Ray Blackmon, Benjamin Young, Christopher Callins, and Jeremy Blackmon; niece: Maxine Griggs; a very special niece: Dorothy Neal, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
