Blondell Spurling Johnson was born October 26,1946 to George and Lucille McNealy Spurling.
Blondell was a member of Union Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Headland Alabama, where at a very young age she was baptized.
Blondell was called home to be with the Lord on November 2, 2024 after 78 years of being a devoted mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, and aunt. Blondell lived life fully, with a spirit that embraced joy and love. With her passion for cooking, dancing and enjoying life she bought smiles to all who met her. Her unwavering support and kindness left an indelible mark on her family, friends and community. We remember her not just for her accomplishments, but for the warmth she shared and laugher she inspired. As we celebrate her life, we carry forward the lessons of love, compassion, and resilience that she instilled in us all.
Blondell was proceeded in death by her mother, father and sisters Brenda (Sam) Vickers of Saginaw, MI, Georgia Marion of Miami FL, Dianne (Randolph) Warren of Headland Alabama and brother Kenneth (Kathy) Spurling of Headland, Alabama also her beloved son Timothy Flemings of Dothan, Alabama.
She leaves to cherish her loving sister Ellen (Willie) Flemings of Saginaw, MI also she leaves to cherish her four devoted sons. Stanley Flemings, Juan (Tammy) Johnson, Ashley (Toccara) Johnson and Eric Johnson (divorced). Blondell has ten grandchildren Mario Jones, Te’Keria Flemings, Tre’Mon Flemings, Demetric Flemings, Arianna Flemings, Lucia Flemings, DaShawn Johnson, Dezmond (CheRon) Johnson, Jasmine Britt, Ne’Kayah Fields and Kyser Jai Johnson. Blondell Johnson has five great- granddaughters Za’Riyah Jones, Harmoni Flemings, Leilani Smelly, Milani Terry and Saray Johnson. Blondell has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends who she loved dearly
