Mr. Billy Ray Hicks, age 72, of Enterprise, Alabama passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 2 PM at Elam Church Cemetery, 6045 County Road 625 Coffee Springs, AL 36323.

Mr. Billy Ray Hicks, Sr. was born on March 16, 1948 to the late Allen Nathaniel and Sarah Jane Hicks in Samson, Alabama.

He was employed with the City of Enterprise for a combined 45 years (17 years with City of Enterprise and 28 years with Enterprise City School System).

On Monday, May 11 2020, at the age of 72, Mr. Billy Ray Hicks, Sr. went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Billy Ray was preceded in death by his parents: Allen Nathaniel and Sarah Jane Hicks; his first wife: Laura Bell Hicks; and two sisters: Mary Hicks and Geraldine Andrews.

To cherish the loving memories of Billy Ray are his wife: Gracie Hicks; children: Mark Perry, Billy Ray (Tonya) Hicks, Jr., Christopher (Ladonna) Perry, Kenneth (Sherry) Hicks, Christopher (Teresa) Hicks, Lushone (Vincent) Johnson, Cortina Johnson, Maurice (Giselle) Hicks, Charles Hicks, and Sarah Hicks; Twenty-seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, two loving sisters: Alleane and Pauline Miles, and one devoted brother: Eddie Ray (Suzette) Hicks and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and a very special friend: Ruby Hill.
