Bernice (Walker) Harper

Mrs. Bernice Walker Harper, age 88 of Dothan, Alabama passed away on November 12, 2021; drive through will be Friday, November 19, 2021 3-5 PM at the funeral home; graveside service will be Saturday, November 20, 2021 2:00 PM at the Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Dothan, Alabama; under the direction of the caring staff of Scott's Chapel Hill Mortuary "Because We Care".

Mrs. Bernice Walker Harper was born November 14, 1932 to the late Jessie and Elvia Walker, in Henry County, Alabama.

In 1950, she married Jack Bradley and to this union, five children were born.  In 1973, she married Henry Mack Harper and to this union, two children were born.

On Friday, November 12, 2021, Mrs. Bernice Walker Harper passed from this life, as we know it, to everlasting life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Henry Mack; one daughter: Lessie (Terry) Hollis; a granddaughter: Akira Hollis and nine siblings: JD Culver, Archie Walker, Tommy Walker, Cathalee Johnson, Eunice Jackson, Alma Cochran, Brunice Hall, Verna Mae Bradley and Jessie Pearl Bradley.

She leaves to cherish her memory, five daughters: Annie Walker, Winnie Brackin, Essie Ashley, Bernestine (Marty) Nee, and Sheila Baxter; two sons: James Bradley and Michael (Sherita) Harper; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
