Ms. Barbara Whigham of Dothan, Alabama departed this earthly life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at the age of 54.
Mrs. Barbara Whigham was born to Viola Hardaway and the late James Earl Whigham on May 2, 1968 in Newville, Alabama.
She attended Northview High School in Dothan, Alabama. She was employed at the Cummings Signs as a Painter for 17 years.
She was a Auburn fan “she would always yell War Eagle Baby”, taking/jumping in pictures, family trips, spending quality time with family & close friends, dancing, sunflowers, mama was a cheerful giver with a heart as pure as gold.
She was preceded in death by her father; two aunts: Ozell Cochran and Christine Bonds; four uncles: Joe Bennet Poke, Obie Poke, Willie Poke and Roy Jr. Whigham.
She leaves to cherish two daughters: Kareba Whigham (Charles) and Tahesia Wilson (Anthony); siblings: Michael Whigham (Shonda) and Brittany Hardaway; niece and nephews: Desiana Whigham, Michael Whigham, Arsenio Whigham, Miqhueil Whigham, Mi’Kel Whigham, Joshua Hill, Jr.; godchildren: Deeshawn “Punkin” Peterman, Ariella “Ella” Skipper, Alaiya Skipper, Syria Whigham; special friend: Emanger (Red) Gilbert; aunts: Edna Morrison, Joanne Freeman (Johnny), Sara Whitfield, Iola Whigham, Catherine Rivers (Amos), and Virginia Culver (Bobby Charles); uncles: Mike Authur (Barbara) and James Willie Poke (Cassandra); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
