Anthony Newby

Anthony Newby was born on January 17, 1987 in Dothan, Alabama to David Williams and Billie Jo (Jermaine) Newby and David Williams. He was welcomed home into the arms of his loving siblings David (Shambra) Newby, Kenneth Newby, Cecilia (Jarvis) Norton, Jerroy (Keisha) Newby, and Monique (Kodero) Newby. As a child he entered into the Dothan City School System where he was a graduate of Northview High School.

Anthony fathered his only child Ka':iyah Michelle Newby whom he doted upon and loved with every fiber of his being.

In addition to being a loving and active father Anthony was employed with Rushing Enterprise of Headland, Alabama and enjoyed traveling and spending time with his various nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Anthony was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Willie Durl Newby and Fannie Mae Newby-Reese; his paternal grandparents: Johnny Williams and Nettie Butts; great grandmother: Lorine Stringer-Newby; uncle: Willie Earl Newby and his loving nephew: Majic Collins, Jr. affectionately known as Boosie.

Living a life well loved by so many others Anthony leaves behind to mourn and cherish his memories maternal uncles: Kenneth Newby, Tracy (Lisa) Newby, and Vincent Newby; paternal uncles: Bobby Brewer, Johnny Williams, Howard Williams, Willie Williams; his aunt: Nettie Williams. Loving and doting aunt: Mary Ann Newby and special friend: Mercedes Trawick in addition to an abundance of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
