Annie Lee Life and Times

Sister Annie Britt Lee was born on February 16, 1959, to the late Oscar Lee, Sr. and Salle Wade Lee. She was raised in Capps, Alabama. Later, she moved to Headland, Alabama where she resided. She was called home to be with her eternal father on September 3, 2025, at Flowers Hospital  after a life-changing illness.

“Britt”, what her family and friends called her, joined Rocky Mt. Baptist Church at an early age, where she remained a faithful and devoted member until her health declined. She also served as president of the Usher Board for several years. Britt also served as the Sunday School Secretary.

Britt was a 1977 graduate of Abbeville High School. She was employed by West Point Stevens in Abbeville for twenty-eight years, until the company shut down. She also attended Wallace Community College. Britt loved her flowers and being in her yard. She loved all children , whether they were related to her or not. She was a die-hard Auburn Football Fan. She did not play the radio but was a type of woman who would give you her last.

Britt was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Willie Fred Lee, James Lee, and Otis Lee; and four sisters: Lenette Martin, Ruby Thomas, Yvonne Reynolds and Brenda Lee; one sister-in-law: Alberta Lee.

Britt leaves to cherish her fondest  memories to her daughter, Kenyatta Reynolds (Clarence), and her son, Tevin Brown, and one granddaughter, Jakayla Reynolds, who was her pride and joy; two sisters, Lottie Benson and Betty Lee, one brother, Oscar Lee, Jr., and one sister-in-law, Rosa Lee.  Nieces and Nephews: Linda Kincey, Vicki Jones, Jeremiah Reynolds, Jr (Tywanna McLeod), Kevin Reynolds (Shea), Lucinda Ware, Tehran Reynolds (Casey), and Brad Reynolds, who was very special to her; Kendall Johnson (Jennifer), Erick Lee Sr (Special), Brittney Key, and Gretchen Jones (Robert).  A godson, Ruben McClendon and goddaughter Claren Brown.

She leaves special memories to her neighbor, Eloise Washington; special friend, Shirley Mills, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
