Angus Lamar Oliver, Jr. was born on November 22, 1953 - youngest child to the late Angus Lamar Oliver, Sr. and Edna King Oliver. (Bubbi) was his childhood nickname and what most called him.
He was saved and baptized at the families home Church at Saint Paul Baptist Church located in Webb, Alabama. Angus comes from a religious and soulful background, where he often sang in the Church as well as on Church Anniversaries alongside his family members.
Bubbi served for a few years in the United States Military, where his passion for mechanical work (cars) and other special skills were born.
Bubbi met the late Linda Gner in the 1970s and in that union, his only child was born.
Bubbi had a love for casinos to where on the weekends, in the residing city of Montgomery, Alabama (where he lived for may years until the time of his death).
He also frequent his hometown of Dothan, Alabama often for family functions and holidays.
Bubbi’s book of life came to a close on October 21, 2024.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Angus Lamar Oliver, Sr. and Edna King Oliver; eight siblings: Elsie Wimes, Sue Ford, Connie Oliver, Linda Jackson, Ludie B. Jackson, Deloris Baxter, Patricia Oliver Lynn, and Napoleon (Baby Nate) Oliver.
He leaves to cherish his memories; a loving son: Terrance Oliver; grandchild: Brandon Craig; sister: Lillie Evelyn Harris; brother: Eddie Oliver; a host of nieces, nephews; great-niece and nephews; friends: Polly Pickman, Yvette, Patrick, Margaunette, and Steve.
