Amos Hardrick ~ when you think of him you think of four things...worship, good food, football, and prayer.  He used the gift of music to uplift hearts because he could sing like a song-bird.  Amos spent many years traveling and singing with his own gospel quartet group, "Genesis".  He used food as a part of ministering to others.  He could fill your stomach with very fine delicacies, always making you want to visit him again and again.  As you were mesmerized by his cuisine, he found ways to feed your spirit, too, with a few sprinkles from the Word of God as he talked while you ate.  He loved football, not just any football team though.  His battle cry was "Go Noles!"  A mighty prayer warrior was he - never complaining just always declaring ...

"I lift my eyes to the hills.  From where does my help come?  My help comes from the LORD who made Heaven and Earth." Psalm 121:1-2

Amos was a man of few words.  He always showed unconditional love to his family and friends.  He was unwavering in his support of his children.  Amos was the boys loudest master cheerleader.  On November 26, 1975 Heaven sent a very special blessing to Cottonwood, Alabama to the late Amos Hardrick and Carmella Ward McKissick.  They named him Amos and raised him in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.  When Amos accepted Christ, he really sold-out to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

He is preceded in death by his father: Amos Hardrick; two siblings: Juanita Hardrick and Cassandra Hardrick (July 14, 2005).  On Wednesday, July 14, 2021, Amos departed this Earthly life, knowing the promises of God are true concerning healing but also realizing there is no need for healing anymore because he is in the presence of the Lord.  All things are perfect.  Amos is now home.

"But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope." 1 Thessalonians 4:13.

Amos Hardrick leaves to cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife: Sheree; three sons: Tylon (Kayla) Hardrick, Christian Hardrick both of Dothan, Alabama, and James Hardrick of Enterprise, Alabama; granddaughter: Kailani Duckett of Dothan, Alabama; a loving and prayer warrior mother: Carmella (Johnny) McKissick of Dothan, Alabama; siblings: Amy Faulk, Cassa Grande both of Arizona, Adrian Hardrick, Tamara (Jeffery) Doyle both of Dothan, Alabama, and Pam Harris of Prattville, Alabama; mother-in-love: Jean Hart of Enterprise, Alabama; brother-in-love: Randy (Anna) Hart of Enterprise, Alabama; sister-in-love: Sherrell (Quentin) Doby of Enterprise, Alabama; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.  Special thanks to our Enterprise DaVita Family.  Your support and care for Amos will forever remain in our hearts.
