Mr. Alphonso Davis, age 85, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020.
Graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 10 AM at Gates of Heaven Cemetery.
Alphonso “Al” Davis, age 85, passed away on Monday, November 5, 2020, Born April 4, 1935, in Newton, Alabama.
Alphonso accepted Christ at a young age and a firm belief in the Seventh Day Adventist Church in the Christian faith. He enjoyed listening to Jazz music, working in his yard, being with friends and was the life of the party.
Alphonso is survived by his wife, Martha Faulk. Alphonso is lovely remembered by Mother of his children, Hattie Marshall Davis, Daughters, Lisa Bates and Kim Orija (Adebayo Orija), and Grandchildren, Bilal Bates, Courtney Dunlap, Britney Dunlap, Kennedy Smallwood, Kendal Orija, and Greatgrand, Bri’anna, Braxton, Brayden, Bella, Julius, and Jalayah.
Predeceased by his Parents, Willie Davis and Ressie Coley Johnson, Brother, Alvin Wilson, Former Wife, Hattie Marshall Davis, and Daughter by his Former Wife, Stacey Dunlap.
