Almonzo Re’Ale Ousley was born on September 5, 1980 to Gwendolyn Ousley and Ray Charles Starks in Dothan, Alabama.
He grew up in Slocomb, Alabama, during his early years but relocated to Dothan with his family as a teenager, where he attended Dothan High School.
Affectionately known as “Dusty” by his family and “Zoe” to friends and acquaintances in his adult years. Almonzo worked as a cook at The Uptown Bar and Grill in downtown Dothan. He was known for his infectious smile and gentle heart.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ray Charles Starks; his grandmothers, Charlotte “Sister Sneed” Ousley, Alta Mae Dent, Lily Mae Key, and Elga Mae Sneed; his grandfathers, Marshall Hall and Elijah Dent’ as well as his uncles: Artie Sneed and Andrew “Pete” Ousley; his aunts: Addie Lee Sneed and Marilyn Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Gwendolyn (Paul) Ousley Key of Dothan, Alabama; three sons: Stafon Ousley of Enterprise, Alabama, RaeQuan Ousley of Boiling Springs, North Carolina and Jacobe Ousley of Slocomb, Alabama; he also leaves a daughter, Keionna Craddock of Dothan, Alabama; a grandson, Aiden; and a granddaughter, Arianna; Almonzo is survived by his brothers: Monteco (Stephanie) Ousley of Spokane, Washington, Paulton “PH” Ousley of Dothan, Alabama and Marshall Antonio Ousley of Union Springs, Alabama; as well as Devin Hamilton of Dothan, Alabama; his sisters include, Felicia Hamilton of Houston Texas and Christy Dent of Dothan, Alabama; he is also remember by his aunts: Gloria Ousley of Orlando, Alabama, Charlotte Green-Hawkins of Tallahassee, Florida, Pauline Starks of Dothan, Alabama, and Irma Jean Johnson of Belle Glade, Florida; we well as special friends, Eli, Julio and Junior all of Dothan, Alabama; a host of other relatives and friends.
