Allen Jerome Simpson was born April 10, 1966, to his loving parents, Allen Dave and Linda Marie Simpson of Headland, AL. Allen Jerome departed his earthly life's journey on February 4, 2026.
Allen was affectionately known by his brother Gregory as "J." He was a happy, comical, fun person to be around. He enjoyed his life to the fullest. He attended Girard Elementary in Dothan, AL, and Headland High in Headland, AL. During his years at Headland High, Allen played on the basketball team. After graduating in the Headland High Class of 1984, Allen joined the United States Army, from which he was medically discharged. After that he held various technical jobs and was known having an excellent work ethic.
He leaves to mourn his loss a loving family, including his father and mother, Allen Dave and Linda Marie Simpson; Son, Sergeant First Class Takorie Temmis (Tiffany) of San Antonio, Texas; two grandchildren, Jazelyn and Justin; one dear brother, Gregory Bernard Simpson; and his nephew and niece, Ramel and Kiana. Also mourning the loss of Allen are his aunts and uncles, including Joyce; Elaine (George); Sharon; Bettye; Joseph; Mavis; Billy; Betty (Homer); Sheron (Donnie); Ann; and Mary Helen.
Allen was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. A.C. and Mrs. Ethel Simpson and Mr. Genus and Mrs. Everneice McDaniels; and aunts and uncles Leon (Sherry); Earl; Wade; Dianne; Lois; Arthur; Gregory Glover; Billy Ray; and Wallace.
Allen is also survived by his special friend Connie, as well as a host of loving extended family members, cousins, friends and running buddies.
