Adele Burroughs

Mrs. Adele Burroughs, age 79, of Dothan, Alabama passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Drive through visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2021 from 3 PM to 5 PM at the funeral home.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at 11 AM Gates of Heaven Cemetery.

Adele Callins Burroughs was born on September 11, 1941 to the late A.D. ad Juanita Callins in Dothan, Alabama.

She became a member of Dothan Community Church in 2008, under the leadership of Dr. Walter Charles Lewis, where she was a faithful member until her health failed.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister: Elnora Reese; brothers: Terry Lee, Remuse Callins, Dallas Walker and Larry Wayne Callins.

On January 6, 2021, Adele was called to rest, leaving to cherish her memories a loving and devoted husband: Henry L. Burroughs; three step-daughters: Marie Wilder, Jeanette Wilder both of Long Beach, New York and Mitzi Boone of Roosevelt, New York; two sisters: Evelyn (Joe) Baker and Ora Walker; one brother: Henry D. (Martha) Callins all of Dothan, Alabama; sisters-in-law: Shirley Browder of Montgomery, Alabama and Hilda (Samuel) Jenkins; two grandchildren one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
